This Holiday Orb has been FOUND by Luke L. after many months and numerous hints. Many have tried, some
thought it was an urban legend, but Luke persevered and found the elusive Holiday Orb. Congratulations!!
Mr. B will reward you for this HUGE accomplishment at the October 25th Troop Meeting.
Hi All, As many of you may be aware, back on April 24th, Evan R. found our first ever Easter Egg hidden in these very pages and
was rewarded with an AMC Silver Experience Ticket for his hard work. Approximately two weeks later our Webmaster craftily hid
(Perhaps a little TOO Craftily one might say) another "Holiday Orb" for your hunting pleasure. It has been almost 4 months and
nobody has found it, who'd have thunk it? Where is it? Only one person knows for sure and he's not talking. It could be in plain
sight on a page, in a photo mixed in with the other photos on our Photo Page, amongst the Permission Slips or Newsletters or even
hidden in a link on the Links Page. The only place it will not be is the Cracked Eggs page as the ones there have already been
found. So take a few minutes while you're here studying your Scouting Advancement, pause the Knot Tying, and take a look around.
You may be our next winner!

As mentioned in September’s newsletter, the new Annual Health and Medical Record Form is now required for all
Troop, District, and Council activities. For activities other than summer camp or events which exceed 72 consecutive
hours, only Parts A and C are required. Scouts who attended summer camp this year will not need to complete
another form, all others need to do so before they can participate on any activity other than meetings. Do we
have yours? If not, you will not be able to participate in any activities other than meetings until we get it.
The new form can be found on the Forms Page of our website. If you have not attended summer camp, please
complete Parts A and C and return it to Mr. Bohnwagner at your next activity or meeting.
The Janitors at the Barron School have once again asked that we wear sneakers at our
Troop Meetings. This would help eliminate the black scuff marks on the gym floor.
If necessary you can change into your sneakers before the meetings.

There will be NO exception to this requirement.
Good morning Troop 409,
I received this Email and am sharing it with all of you.
If you helped stuff the stockings, thank you for we truly made this one person's sacrifice during this holiday season a little
better. I'm sure any others who received a stocking are also appreciative. Please keep them all in your prayers.
Have a good weekend.
Dear Troop 409,
I was hoping to send a card but only found an email on your web site. I have received a bag of candy with your troop card in a stocking. I want to thank you for thinking of us during the holidays. It was like an early Christmas as we handed out the stockings. We really do appreciate the candy because they don't have a place to buy any where we are in Afghanistan. I hope your holidays are the best they can be. Thanks
SFC Jennifer Patrick

The Boy Scouts of America is the nation's foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training. In the future Scouting will continue to:
Offer young people responsible fun and adventure;
Instill in young people lifetime values and develop in them ethical character as expressed in the Scout Oath and Law;
Train young people in citizenship, service, and leadership;
Serve America's communities and families with its quality, values-based program.
As an American, I will do my best to --
Be clean in my outdoor manners,
Be careful with fire,
